I did this lesson,I use the technorahti tool but, it was pretty cool to use nothing so dramatic I could say about.

flickr or flacker

I tryed to play around with the flickr wheel, but it would let me change the picture I had choosen. I must admit the picture is kind of cool , its a picture of toxic waste. I was really confused on this one. Heres my picture.

Three of my most favorite discoveries were You Tube, Technorahti, and setting up the blogger account, I've been abusing it. Everything else was kinda I think this lesson will help me to utilize my creative skills at the library or wherever I may be. Nothing really surprised me, but it was interesting to know that there are some many resources that you can use from web 2.0. The only improvement that would make doing lessons in the future easier is that the computer terms that were used were hard to comprehend. I fell that some lessons should be broken down into laymen terms or either to a point where it is more understandable. I would love to participate in another lesson like this, it challenge me in many aspects and I just love to learn new things. I thank you for this opportunity learn Web 2.0..

Heading into Overdrive!!!!

I really like this excercise this something I could definitely used on my mp3 hint, hint,,,. No, but really I like this one, its a creative way of putting audio books on to usb devices and enjoy them wherever you may be. I choose this book the 10-minute Stress Manager,,, which I most definitely need, as one of the first things I would be interested in downloading. To access the overdrive download was like maybe less than 10 mintues to obtain, it wasn't so bad.

Podcasting

The podcasting intructions were hard to follow for me,,, I not sure that what I did was correct or not. I explored the iTunes and found different audio books. I found Janet Evanwich's Plum Lucky and listen to a little of it. iTunes seem pretty neat I had no idea that you could look up books, I thought it was just for music. I guess that's why you tell to explore. As far as doing the rss feed on it, I wasnt clear on how to add it. I did my best, but I enjoyed exploring iTunes.

WEB 2.0 NOMINEES

I chose the Last.fm from my site, because I'm a big music lover. I liked the site very much I was able to look up different artist and songs. The site gave good detailed background information about the artist and songs. It allows you to hear the whole song and not just little snippets of the song. The only thing is it doesn't show all of the records for some artist, but it's a great site. I see why this was chosen as number one. As far as using this site for the library, patrons can look up a certain artist, song, and recording year of a different albums. I really liked this site, I plan on using it more often. FLOETRY

You Tube is Greeaat!!

You Tube is greeaat!! There are so many different clips and features that you c an look up. I have nothing really bad to say about you tube, its just that some things are a little eccentric that goes on there. The library could use you tube to lure more people to coming into their local libraries and get more persons to check out items. The library can advertise different venues that go on during the week or month. I haven't been in the system long, but that's all of the uses I could think of at the moment. I really enjoyed exploring you tube it was fun. Please check out my You Tube video clip its hilarious...!!! : )
