I remember watching the movie Gattaca with Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, and the part where Ethan's character has to have his eye scanned and all this eccentric DNA testing to enter into the big space corporation he worked for, I wondered could they ever come with something like that? Well, in this day and age anything is possible. Now they have a palm reading device that they use in the health care system that can instantly identify a patient . This device can read the vein pattern or template in a person's hand in less than a second and pull up the patient's medical record. This kinda blows my mind, cause then again what's next.
